Hindustan Cleanenergy Limited (HCEL) was incorporated in October, 2008 and is a 100% subsidiary of Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited (HPPPL). The main business of the Company is generation, transmission, distribution, sale, purchase, trading of solar power. HCEL is the solar holdco and is engaged in development of solar power projects through itself and its subsidiaries in India.
Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of the company is listed with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), hence it is a debt listed company.
